Dr. Kristin Nelson graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in biology in 1999. After that she attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Since that time she has been practicing in private group practices. Each year, she attends numerous continuing education courses to remain up-to-date on the advances in dentistry.
“I am thrilled to be at Summit Dental where I can help the people of our community live healthier lives every day. I love getting to know each person who comes to visit us and discussing their plans for oral care. It is always my goal to provide the best possible dental service in a caring and gentle manner. I look forward to personally getting to know all of my patients to create long lasting relationships.”
Dr. Nelson grew up in Mendota Heights, Minnesota and now resides in the Rosemount area with her husband, Nick. They have three children, Matthew, Katie, and Andrew, and a yellow Labrador retriever Ajax. When not practicing dentistry, she is active in the community by volunteering at her children’s school and coaching their sports teams. As a family, they enjoy boating in Minnesota and skiing in Colorado.
