As the end of the year is quickly approaching, we want to remind you to use any unused insurance or flexible spending account benefits before they expire. Your policy most likely allows for an annual dollar amount of dental treatment, (often between $1500 – $2000) but if you don’t use your coverage by December 31st, you will 
lose that money forever. The dental insurance benefits that you paid for do not carry over to the next year. If you have a flexible spending account for healthcare, that usually expires on December 31st also.
